Ok Jen, I have some ideas…possibly an Aquilegia vulgaris? Just my first thought……….

I guess until I make my guess of Lilac I will keep thinking it…Syringa vulgaris. Another hard one Jen!
OK!! Primula vulgaris. I had all three of my choices… just gave them to you in the wrong order!
I think Primroses are so cheery.
